Abstract: Questa č la storia di uno straordinario viaggio nella vita di uno degli ultimi eremiti, il pił vecchio della Polonia. Józef conduce un'esistenza ascetica senza essere turbato dai cambiamenti che avvengono intorno a lui. Quelli come lui sono esseri in via di estinzione nel materialismo moderno. Józef si attiene ai principi e alle limitazioni che si č imposto e che, di conseguenza, hanno lasciato su di lui un segno indelebile. Non č neanche consapevole di essere diventato una celebritą della localitą dove ha abitato negli ultimi sessant'anni, il villaggio di Kalwaria Zebrzydowska (Polonia).
This is the story of an extraordinary journey into the life of one of the last hermits, the oldest in Poland. Józef leads an ascetic existence unperturbed by the changes taking place around him. People like him are dying out in modern materialism. Józef sticks to the principles and limitations he has imposed on himself and which, as a result, have left an indelible mark on him. He is not even aware that he has become a celebrity in the place where he has lived for the last sixty years, the village of Kalwaria Zebrzydowska (Poland).
