Abstract: "Il film racconta la storia di mia madre che aspetta mio padre, partito più di 20 anni fa. È anche la storia di mia sorella che aspetta suo marito, che se n'è andato cinque anni fa, e quella di mia nipote che non ha mai conosciuto suo padre. Con la mia video camera sono tornato nella comunità di Agnam Lidoubé, un villaggio del Fouta senegalese, dopo due anni di assenza, per capire come e perché mia madre ha trascorso questi lunghi anni in attesa". "The film tells the story of my mother who is waiting for my father, who left more than 20 years ago. It is also the story of my sister waiting for her husband, who left five years ago, and that of my niece who has never met her father. With my video camera, I returned to the community of Agnam Lidoubé, a village in Senegalese Fouta, after two years of absence, to understand how and why my mother spent these long years waiting" (D.
