Abstract: Il giorno della festa del Corpus Domini del 2009 in via Vukovarska a Zagabria, gli studenti della facoltà di scienze umane e sociali si sono riuniti davanti al palazzo del Ministero dell'Agricoltura per sostenere le proteste dei contadini. L'euforica notte degli studenti e la sobria giornata dei contadini; l'attivismo consapevole dei media e i macchinari pesanti per le strade; la democrazia plenaria e le associazioni contadine in lite - sono alcuni degli aspetti di questa improbabile alleanza che, questo il tema del film di Igor Bezinović, rivela molte cose della società contemporanea croata. Nonostante il fatto che l'evento sia stato coperto dai media, questo film è l'unica ripresa video dell'insolito incontro tra studenti e contadini.
On the day of the 2009 Corpus Christi feast on Vukovarska Street in Zagreb, students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences gathered in front of the Ministry of Agriculture building to support the peasants' protests. The euphoric night of the students and the sober day of the peasants; the conscious activism of the media and the heavy machinery on the streets; the plenary democracy and the quarrelling peasant associations - these are some of the aspects of this unlikely alliance which, this is the theme of Igor Bezinović's film, reveals much about contemporary Croatian society. Despite the fact that the event was covered by the media, this film is the only video footage of the unusual encounter between students and peasants.
