Abstract: "I miei cari a Mosca, come erano quindici anni fa e come sono oggi. Sette persone a me vicine, che ho seguito con la video camera durante il 1993 e poi nel 2008/2009. Nell'arco di questi quindici anni, Mosca ha subito un enorme cambiamento, è stato trasformata da sconvolgimenti sociali ed economici quasi incomprensibili. Per me era importante vedere e ritrarre i destini dei miei parenti e amici moscoviti nel contesto degli sviluppi politici in atto. Cosa ne è stato delle loro vite e dei loro amori, dei loro sogni e speranze, delle loro aspettative? Un incontro tra tre generazioni, cresciute in ambienti sociali diversi". (C. Boekel)
"My loved ones in Moscow, as they were 15 years ago and as they are today. Seven people close to me, whom I followed with the video camera during 1993 and then in 2008/2009. Over these fifteen years, Moscow has undergone enormous change, has been transformed by almost incomprehensible social and economic upheavals. It was important for me to see and portray the fates of my Moscow relatives and friends in the context of the political developments taking place. What happened to their lives and loves, their hopes and dreams, their expectations? A meeting of three generations, who grew up in different social environments" (C. Boekel).
