Abstract: Il ricordo della bomba atomica e delle sue terribili conseguenze costituisce l'identità contemporanea della città di Hiroshima. La città è stata ricostruita intorno al suo Peace Memorial Park, dove l'erba è ricresciuta e il tempo ha cancellato gli ultimi segni della desolazione atomica. Lungo il fiume, gli alberi del giardino Shukkeien, dove lo scrittore Tamiki Hara (1905 - 1951) scappò quella mattina del 6 agosto 1945, in cerca di salvezza. Il regista ha filmato alcuni frammenti dei ricordi che si sono depositati sulla città.
The memory of the atomic bomb and its terrible aftermath forms the contemporary identity of the city of Hiroshima. The city has been rebuilt around its 'Peace Memorial Park', where the grass has grown back and time has erased the last signs of the atomic desolation. Along the river, the trees of the Shukkeien Garden, where the writer Tamiki Hara (1905 - 1951) escaped that morning of 6 August 1945, in search of safety. The filmmaker has filmed fragments of the memories that have settled over the city.
