Abstract: La vita quotidiana degli uomini impiegati nell'estrazione della sabbia dal fiume Apure, nella regione di Llanos in Venezuela. Un lavoro faticoso e molto pericoloso. Per i loro figli lo studio rappresenta l'unica speranza per sfuggire ad un destino che sembra segnato.
The daily lives of the men employed in the extraction of sand from the Apure River in the Llanos region of Venezuela. A tiring and very dangerous job. For their children, study represents the only hope of escaping a fate that seems sealed.
