Abstract: Il documentario racconta la storia di una ragazza senegalese che sta imparando a leggere. Mama, la protagonista, ottiene i libri che legge attraverso suo fratello Djamil, che collabora a Dakar con una ONG che fornisce materiale didattico riciclato alla scuola del quartiere povero. Il film si propone di approfondire il fenomeno dell'educazione nei paesi in via di sviluppo.
The documentary tells the story of a Senegalese girl who is learning to read. Mama, the protagonist, obtains the books she reads through her brother Djamil, who works in Dakar with an NGO that provides recycled teaching materials to the school in the poor neighbourhood. The film explores the phenomenon of education in developing countries.
