Abstract: Un viaggio fantastico attraverso il mondo multistrato di Peter Weibel (1944 - ), artista d'avanguardia, azionista viennese, teorico, rockstar e presidente del Center for Art and Media (ZKM) di Karlsruhe, Germania.

A fantastic journey through the multi-layered world of Peter Weibel (1944 - ), avant-garde artist, Viennese shareholder, theorist, rock star and president of the Center for Art and Media (ZKM) in Karlsruhe, Germany. Weibel takes us through what he calls his pluriverse. He returns to the places of his childhood and visits the children's home where he grew up after the dramatic and distressing escape from Odessa in the last days of World War II. He takes us to the places where he was active as a Viennese Actionist in the 1960s and 1970s, where he was led around on a leash by the artist Valie Export and was wanted by the Austrian police after some provocative performances at the University of Vienna. Today, he takes us on restless journeys through his world: to Rome, where he curates an exhibition and meets the legendary artist Jannis Kounellis; to Paris, where he gives a talk together with Umberto Eco at the Louvre; to Karlsruhe, where he receives the European Culture Prize for 2009; and finally to Berlin, where he gives a talk together with the famous artist Olafur Eliasson.
