Abstract: L'invecchiamento spaventa. Ma al di là delle apparenze, la vecchiaia rappresenta semplicemente la fine della vita? L'invecchiamento può essere visto come una nuova partenza? Mentre i nostri corpi diventano sempre più fragili, invecchiare può portare una maggiore sensibilità e risvegliare nuove sensazioni. Rivelato in semplici momenti, l'invecchiamento evidenzia la fragilità dell'esistenza fisica, ma anche l'intensità del momento presente. Jacqueline, Madeleine, Claude, Roger e Frida, tutti ultraottantenni, si sforzano di adattarsi ai loro limiti fisici e di accettare i loro mutevoli desideri e aspettative.
Ageing frightens. But beyond appearances, does old age simply represent the end of life? Can ageing be seen as a new beginning? As our bodies become more and more fragile, growing old can bring greater sensitivity and awaken new sensations. Revealed in simple moments, ageing highlights the fragility of physical existence, but also the intensity of the present moment. Jacqueline, Madeleine, Claude, Roger and Frida, all over 80, struggle to adapt to their physical limitations and accept their changing desires and expectations.
