Abstract: Stomu Yamash'ta, percussionista unico nel suo genere perché suona sulle pietre, e il controtenore islandese Sverrir Gudjonsson hanno composto durante le riprese del film un'opera basata su testi sacri islandesi, giapponesi e aramaici. Il film racconta la storia di questa avventura artistica e il processo creativo che ha portato i due musicisti in Giappone, Islanda e Parigi, fino alla Chiesa di Saint-Eustache, dove l'opera ha avuto la prima mondiale.
Stomu Yamash'ta, a unique percussionist because he plays on stones, and Icelandic countertenor Sverrir Gudjonsson composed an opera based on Icelandic, Japanese and Aramaic sacred texts during the filming of the film. The film tells the story of this artistic adventure and the creative process that took the two musicians to Japan, Iceland and Paris, to the Saint-Eustache Church, where the opera had its world premiere.
