Abstract: Se la fama di Peter Eötvös supera i limiti del mondo musicale č perché con opere come "Le tre sorelle", "Angels in America" o "Lady Sarashina", rompe la barriera tra il mondo chiuso dell'opera e il grande pubblico dei non iniziati. Il documentario evoca in 9 scene l'ultima opera di Peter Eötvös, "Lady Sarashina" (2009), dando la parola al suo autore ma anche a Ushio Amagatsu, Genevičve Ličvre, Pedro Amaral e Serge Dorny, stretti collaboratori o fedeli compagni del Maestro. Il film presenta anche giovani spettatori che, attraverso la loro libera interpretazione, portano una nuova comprensione dell'opera.
If Peter Eötvös' fame exceeds the limits of the musical world, it is because with operas such as 'The Three Sisters', 'Angels in America' or 'Lady Sarashina', he breaks the barrier between the closed world of opera and the general public of the uninitiated. In nine scenes, the documentary evokes Peter Eötvös's last opera, 'Lady Sarashina' (2009), giving the floor to its author but also to Ushio Amagatsu, Genevičve Ličvre, Pedro Amaral and Serge Dorny, close collaborators and faithful companions of the Maestro. The film also presents young viewers who, through their free interpretation, bring a new understanding of the work.
