Abstract: Un viaggio su un carrello di bambł lungo una ferrovia senza treni. Dalla memoria del genocidio dei Khmer rossi nei racconti di una madre alle storie di tre ragazzi di un circo cambogiano formato da orfani, bambini di strada, vittime di traffico umano e di violenza domestica. Attraverso la Cambogia contemporanea, in cui il circo irrompe come opportunitą di cambiamento, strumento per ridefinire l'identitą distrutta dal regime, mezzo di sussistenza ed espressione, sogno di un gruppo di profughi ritornati ad un paese devastato. Un tendone in mezzo alle risaie.
A journey on a bamboo cart along a railway without trains. From the memory of the Khmer Rouge genocide in the stories of a mother to the stories of three boys from a Cambodian circus made up of orphans, street children, victims of human trafficking and domestic violence. Through contemporary Cambodia, in which the circus bursts in as an opportunity for change, a tool for redefining an identity destroyed by the regime, a means of subsistence and expression, the dream of a group of refugees returned to a devastated country.
