Abstract: La storia delle donne che hanno soggiornato nel campo profughi di Ein El Hilweh tra il 1982 e il 1984 è un capitolo unico nella storia delle palestinesi rifugiate in Libano. Dopo l'invasione israeliana del Libano, avvenuta nel 1982, il campo fu distrutto gli uomini imprigionati. Il film documenta lo spirito comunitario e organizzativo delle donne durante questo periodo. Sono state in grado di ricostruire il campo, proteggere e provvedere alle loro famiglie mentre i loro uomini erano in prigione. Tessendo tra passato e presente, animazione e vita quotidiana, il documentario si concentra su sette di loro.
The story of the women who stayed in the Ein El Hilweh refugee camp between 1982 and 1984 is a unique chapter in the history of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon. After the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982, the camp was destroyed and the men imprisoned. The film documents the community and organisational spirit of the women during this period. They were able to rebuild the camp, protect and provide for their families while their men were in prison. Weaving between past and present, animation and everyday life, the documentary focuses on seven of them.
