Abstract: Il fotografo Lucas Oleniuk affronta la questione globale del cambiamento climatico attraverso un approccio locale. Con l'eccezione di due immagini, tutte le sue 20.000 fotografie sono state scattate in Ontario, Canada. Ma illustrano un problema globale. Con un'ossessionante colonna sonora originale di Randy Risling e citazioni evocative, il film si svolge come un sogno inquietante. "Siamo totalmente dipendenti dai combustibili fossili e le nostre infrastrutture riflettono questo stato delle cose", sostiene Oleniuk.
Photographer Lucas Oleniuk addresses the global issue of climate change through a local approach. With the exception of two images, all of his 20,000 photographs were taken in Ontario, Canada. But they illustrate a global problem. With a haunting original soundtrack by Randy Risling and evocative quotes, the film unfolds like an eerie dream. 'We are totally dependent on fossil fuels and our infrastructure reflects this state of affairs,' claims Oleniuk.
