Abstract: Film documentario sul pił grande collisore di adroni del mondo (LHC) che si trova vicino al confine tra Francia e Svizzera. Con l'aiuto di questo acceleratore gli scienziati vogliono simulare le condizioni del cosmo poco dopo il Big Bang. Sperano di ottenere informazioni di base sulla struttura della massa e di conoscere i segreti dell'universo. Sullo sfondo della prima iniezione del fascio di LHC nel settembre 2008, diamo uno sguardo da vicino a molte delle domande cui gli esperimenti tentano di dare risposta.
Documentary film about the world's largest hadron collider (LHC) located near the border between France and Switzerland. With the help of this accelerator, scientists want to simulate the conditions of the cosmos shortly after the Big Bang. They hope to obtain basic information about the structure of mass and to learn the secrets of the universe. Against the background of the first injection of the LHC beam in September 2008, we take a closer look at many of the questions the experiments are trying to answer.
