Abstract: Nel quartiere Rukn Edin, a Damasco, lo sceicco Ibrahim chiama alla preghiera nella moschea, sulle montagne del deserto siriano fratello Jihad dice la messa del mattino nel chiostro siro-cattolico di Deir Mar Musa. Questo film ritrae due ecclesiastici siriani nel contesto delle loro rispettive religioni: lo sceicco Ibrahim è un membro dell'ordine sufi musulmano Naqschibandi-Haqqani, fratello Jihad è un prete e monaco e vive nel chiostro siro-cattolico Deir Mar Musa. Il film mostra la vita quotidiana di entrambi i protagonisti.
In the Rukn Edin neighborhood of Damascus, Sheikh Ibrahim calls to prayer in the mosque, in the Syrian desert mountains Brother Jihad says morning mass in the Syrian Catholic cloister of Deir Mar Musa. This film portrays two Syrian clerics in the context of their respective religions: sheikh Ibrahim is a member of the Naqschibandi-Haqqani Muslim Sufi order, brother Jihad is a priest and monk and lives in the Syrian-Catholic Deir Mar Musa cloister. The film shows the daily life of both protagonists.
