Abstract: Girato in un periodo di tre anni (da dicembre 2007 a novembre 2010), questo documentario segue un'atleta croata di grande talento, Danijela Grgić, ex campionessa mondiale juniores nei 400 metri e un tempo grande talento dell'atletica mondiale, alle Olimpiadi di Pechino 2008. Mentre la storia si dipana, il film esamina questioni molto complesse e controverse che circondano i migliori atleti junior, tra cui lo sforzo fisico e mentale, gli infortuni, la pressione psicologica causata dalle alte aspettative e la lotta contro la propria mente. Sullo sfondo di questo dramma sportivo, il film fornisce una sottile analisi sulla natura umana e sui valori sportivi distorti.
Filmed over a period of three years (December 2007 to November 2010), this documentary follows a very talented Croatian athlete, Danijela Grgić, former world junior champion in the 400 meters and one-time world athletics great, at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. As the story unfolds, the film examines highly complex and controversial issues surrounding top junior athletes, including physical and mental exertion, injuries, psychological pressure caused by high expectations, and the struggle with one's own mind. Against the backdrop of this sports drama, the film provides a subtle analysis of human nature and distorted sports values.
