Abstract: Il ritratto di un personaggio atipico, sospeso tra due mondi: il Belgio e il Congo. Cresciuto da una madre single belga e da un artista, Paul Panda Farnana è il primo congolese che ha ottenuto il diploma di istruzione superiore in Belgio all'inizio del XX secolo. Attraverso la sua vita e i suoi pamphlet, il film propone una riflessione umanistica sulle lotte condotte da Panda Farnana. La sua appartenenza a due mondi getta una luce inedita sulla storia belgo-congolese.
A portrait of an atypical character suspended between two worlds-Belgium and Congo. Raised by a single Belgian mother and an artist, Paul Panda Farnana is the first Congolese to graduate from higher education in Belgium in the early 20th century. Through his life and pamphlets, the film offers a humanistic reflection on the struggles led by Panda Farnana. His belonging to two worlds sheds unprecedented light on Belgian-Congolese history.
