Abstract: Barroso è una regione isolata del Portogallo dove la gente vive al ritmo delle mandrie e delle stagioni. Qui si può sperimentare di un modo di vivere ancestrale che probabilmente non durerà a lungo. Tutti sanno che presto arriverà la fine e intessono segretamente le maglie dei ricordi. La memoria resiste, l'ambiente le fa da specchio. Nel ricordare quello che eravamo si riflette anche su quello che siamo diventati.
Barroso is an isolated region of Portugal where people live to the rhythm of the herds and the seasons. Here one can experience an ancestral way of life that will probably not last long. Everyone knows that the end will soon come and they secretly weave the meshes of memories. Memory endures; the environment mirrors it. In remembering what we were it also reflects on what we have become.
