Abstract: Un piccolo diario nero viene trovato, in una casa di Montreuil, dopo la morte del suo proprietario. In questo diario, risalente al 1968, il signor M., un uomo di 41 anni che vive con i genitori e lavora come cartografo per il National Geographic Institute, racconta giorno per giorno gli eventi della sua vita, scrivendo con mano fine, senza passione né sentimento. "Questo film è un saggio sull'ordine e il disordine, l'erranza di un uomo per il quale la vita nel '68 non era diversa da quella che era stata nel '67 e che sarebbe stata nel '69 e negli anni successivi.
A small black diary is found, in a house in Montreuil, after the death of its owner. In this diary, dating back to 1968, Mr. M., a 41-year-old man living with his parents and working as a cartographer for the National Geographic Institute, recounts the events of his life day by day, writing in a fine hand, without passion or feeling. "This film is an essay on order and disorder, the wandering of a man for whom life in '68 was no different from what it had been in '67 and would be in '69 and the years that followed.
