Abstract: Nel tentativo di dare un senso al modo in cui suo padre ha scelto di morire, il regista di questo film apre diverse scatole contenente ciò che è rimasto. Le foto dimenticate, le lettere e i video casalinghi ritrovati riportano il film alla Jugoslavia degli anni '70, quando i suoi genitori si amavano. Ma il viaggio attraverso gli anni, in compagnia del ricordo dei membri della famiglia, di amici perduti e di luoghi oggi abbandonati, rivela gli orrori persistenti delle recenti guerre balcaniche che ancora lacerano persone e famiglie. Il film si interroga sulla responsabilità individuale della gente comune investita dai venti della guerra.
In an attempt to make sense of the way his father chose to die, the director of this film opens several boxes containing what is left. Forgotten photos, letters, and found home videos take the film back to 1970s Yugoslavia, when his parents loved each other. But the journey through the years, in the company of memories of family members, lost friends and places now abandoned, reveals the lingering horrors of the recent Balkan wars that still tear people and families apart. The film questions the individual responsibility of ordinary people buffeted by the winds of war.
