Abstract: La prima intervista mediatica al mondo, realizzata a Parigi nell'agosto del 1886, è al centro di questo film. Il grande fotografo Nadar intervista il famoso scienziato e scettico Chevreul in occasione del suo centesimo compleanno. Nella loro conversazione - originariamente registrata in stenografia - discutono di fotografia, teoria dei colori, Molière, il metodo scientifico, idee folli e - naturalmente - di come arrivare a 100 anni. Una conversazione vivace e interessante tra due leggende del XIX secolo. La storia è narrata da Agnès Varda.
The world's first media interview, conducted in Paris in August 1886, is the focus of this film. The great photographer Nadar interviews the famous scientist and skeptic Chevreul on the occasion of his 100th birthday. In their conversation--originally recorded in shorthand--they discuss photography, color theory, Molière, the scientific method, crazy ideas and--of course--how to get to 100. A lively and interesting conversation between two 19th-century legends. The story is narrated by Agnès Varda.
