Abstract: Sopravvissuti alla guerra nei Balcani degli anni '90, la vita continua per cinque bosniaci. Mevko, non vedente, č un poeta e un cantante folk bosniaco. Ha scritto una canzone per ognuno dei protagonisti del film. Esmir č stato tenuto prigioniero dai serbi per 8 anni, anche se la guerra ne č durata solo 4. Fahro era il maggiore di Srebrenica durante la guerra. Le forze di protezione dell'ONU avevano promesso di proteggere la cittā, ma si sono ritirate. Oggi lavora come agente di sicurezza per l'ONU. Hanka ha perso i suoi cinque figli, un nipote, suo marito e due fratelli durante la caduta di Srebrenica. Ora si occupa di crescere i suoi nipoti, in Svizzera. Semso č un eroe della resistenza bosniaca. Insieme a sua moglie sono gli unici superstiti della loro famiglia. Entrambi gravemente feriti e sono a Ginevra per sottoporsi a cure chirurgiche. Stanno allevando il loro figlio, Dino, nato prematuro.
Survivors of the Balkan war of the 1990s, life goes on for five Bosnians. Mevko, who is blind, is a Bosnian poet and folk singer. He has written a song for each of the main characters in the film. Esmir was held captive by the Serbs for eight years, although the war lasted only four. Fahro was the major in Srebrenica during the war. The U.N. protection forces had promised to protect the town, but withdrew. Today he works as a security officer for the UN. Hanka lost her five children, a grandson, her husband and two brothers during the fall of Srebrenica. She is now involved in raising her grandchildren, in Switzerland. Semso is a hero of the Bosnian resistance. Together with his wife, they are the only survivors of their family. Both are severely wounded and are in Geneva undergoing surgical treatment. They are raising their son, Dino, who was born prematurely.
