Abstract: Laos 2010. Le foreste vengono bruciate dalle tribù degli Akha e di altre minorità etniche per piantare alberi della gomma. Il miraggio è il guadagno promesso dai confinanti cinesi che hanno pattuito di acquistare la gomma prodotta dopo otto anni, tempo necessario affinché gli alberi entrino in produzione.
Laos 2010. Forests are being burned by Akha tribes and other ethnic minorities to plant rubber trees. The mirage is the promised profit from Chinese neighbors who have agreed to buy the rubber produced after eight years, the time needed for the trees to come into production.
