Abstract: Jorgelino è un agricoltore che vive nel sud del Cile. Per molti anni è stato un agente della macchina cruenta repressiva del regime di Pinochet. Jorgelino era "El mocito" (ovvero, il giovane maggiordomo) e portava il caffè nel corso delle sessioni di tortura, dava da mangiare ai prigionieri e si sbarazzava dei cadaveri. Vent'anni dopo è stato portato in tribunale e costretto a confessare i crimini commessi. Questo film offre un ritratto psicologico di un essere umano distrutto dal suo passato e che oggi, presa coscienza di quanto commesso, cerca la redenzione.
Jorgelino is a farmer living in the south of Chile. For many years he was an agent of the bloody repressive machine of the Pinochet regime. Jorgelino was 'El mocito' (i.e. the young butler) and brought coffee during torture sessions, fed prisoners and disposed of corpses. Twenty years later, he was brought to court and forced to confess his crimes. This film offers a psychological portrait of a human being destroyed by his past and who today, having become aware of what he has committed, seeks redemption.
