Abstract: E' la storia di tre coppie che cercano di far funzionare le loro relazioni. Heiko e Amelie aspettano un bambino. Amelie vuole abortire, Heiko no. Herrmann e Dorothea hanno già due figli. Doro riprende a lavorare il che produce stress nella coppia. Siegfried è appena andato in pensione. È felice, ma sua moglie è andata in overdose di sonniferi. Le tre coppie sono interpretate da attori. Nel film, incontrano dei veri terapeuti. Il film mostra apertamente questa impostazione artificiale, ma arriva a molti momenti che sembrano reali. Utilizzando questi casi esemplificativi, il film discute la nozione contemporanea di amore.
It is the story of three couples trying to make their relationships work. Heiko and Amelie are expecting a baby. Amelie wants an abortion, Heiko does not. Herrmann and Dorothea already have two children. Doro goes back to work which produces stress in the couple. Siegfried has just retired. He is happy, but his wife has overdosed on sleeping pills. The three couples are played by actors. In the film, they meet real therapists. The film openly shows this artificial setting, but arrives at many moments that seem real. Using these illustrative cases, the film discusses the contemporary notion of love.
