Abstract: Il documentario si concentra sul talentuoso coreografo Pierre Lacotte e sulla sua musa Ghislaine Thesmar, prima ballerina e insegnante all'Opéra de Paris. Entrambi hanno dedicato tutta la loro vita al balletto. Pierre Lacotte, ballerino e coreografo, ha composto le più belle coreografie ("Marco Spada", "La voce", "La notte è la strega", "La Sylphide", "Ondine") eseguite dalle prime ballerine del Bolchoï, del Kirov e dell'Opéra de Paris. Il film rievoca 60 anni di carriera, dal 1954 al 2010, attraverso l'utilizzo di archivi inediti.
The documentary focuses on the talented choreographer Pierre Lacotte and his muse Ghislaine Thesmar, prima ballerina and teacher at the Opéra de Paris. Both have dedicated their entire lives to ballet. Pierre Lacotte, dancer and choreographer, composed the most beautiful choreographies ('Marco Spada', 'La voce', 'La notte è la strega', 'La Sylphide', 'Ondine') performed by the prima ballerinas of the Bolchoï, the Kirov and the Opéra de Paris. The film evokes 60 years of career, from 1954 to 2010, through the use of previously unpublished archives.
