Joe Camilleri, 62, has been playing in pubs and clubs around Australia for 45 years, as well as recording nearly 30 CDs and producing countless other works. This documentary follows multiple tracks: the story of Joe's family's emigration from Malta to Melbourne; the history of Melbourne's music scene over the past 45 years through Joe's two main bands, Jo Jo Zep & the Falcons and The Black Sorrows; and the making of his latest double album to be released at the end of the year. It is a fascinating look at one man and his passion for music.
