Abstract: La testimonianza dello scrittore Boris Pahor (1913 - 2022) ci guida lungo un viaggio che tocca luoghi ed esperienze della sua vita, legandosi ai temi fondamentali di "Necropoli" e di altre sue opere: Trieste e la comunità slovena perseguitata dal fascismo, il secondo conflitto mondiale e la resistenza, la deportazione politica e il campo di Natzweiler-Struthof, il ritorno a casa e il difficile dopoguerra. Alle parole del testimone s’intrecciano - in un susseguirsi di incontri - le riflessioni e le emozioni di quanti hanno letto i suoi libri e lo hanno conosciuto: lo scrittore-giornalista Paolo Rumiz, la storica Marta Verginella, la direttrice del Centre européen du résistant déporté Valérie Drechsler, gli studiosi David Bidussa, Dunja Nanut e Franco Cecotti.
The testimony of the writer Boris Pahor (1913 - 2022) guides us along a journey that touches on the places and experiences of his life, linking up with the fundamental themes of "Necropolis" and his other works: Trieste and the Slovenian community persecuted by Fascism, the Second World War and the Resistance, political deportation and the Natzweiler-Struthof camp, the return home and the difficult post-war period. The words of the witness are interwoven - in a succession of encounters - with the reflections and emotions of those who have read his books and met him: the writer-journalist Paolo Rumiz, the historian Marta Verginella, the director of the Centre européen du résistant déporté Valérie Drechsler, the scholars David Bidussa, Dunja Nanut and Franco Cecotti.
