Abstract: Nella periferia di Roma, Andrei si divide tra il lavoro come stalliere, l’accudimento della madre e della sorella e le serate con gli amici. Ha un sogno nel cassetto: avere successo con i brani musicali che compone nel tempo libero e diventare un famoso trapper. L’incombenza di uno sfratto, la difficoltà di comprare una casa con le poche risorse economiche a disposizione e la paura di un futuro incerto lo portano gradualmente ad abbandonare ogni speranza in una vita diversa. Realizzato nell’arco di quattro anni, a partire da un soggetto scritto a quattro mani dal regista (Nicolò Ballante) e dal protagonista (Andrei Grigorita), Tineret ha la singolare capacità di saper raccontare con autenticità la condizione di una classe troppo spesso reietta ed emarginata. Lo fa attraverso la vicenda di un giovane moldavo, esponente di una generazione senza illusioni, che trova nella musica trap l’unica possibilità di realizzazione e di riscatto sociale. Un racconto sincero e potente con un protagonista magnetico.
In the outskirts of Rome, Andrei’s life is divided between his work as a groom, taking care of his mother and sister, and going out with his friends at night. His long-cherished dream, however, is to become a successful and famous trapper with the songs he composes in his leisure time. But an impending eviction, the difficulty of buying a house with little money available, and an insecure future gradually convince him to abandon all hopes for a different life. Made over four years, based on a storyline cowritten by the filmmaker (Nicolò Ballante) and the lead character (Andrei Grigorita), Tineret manages to offer an authentic description of the conditions of a social class that is too often rejected and outcast. It does so by telling the story of a young Moldavian, the representative of a disillusioned generation, who identifies trap music as the only possibility of fulfilment and social redemption. A sincere, powerful film and a magnetic protagonist.
