Fred Deux and Cécile Reims are two major artists who crossed the 20th century and met and collaborated with the greatest names in art and literature. Survivors of the nightmare and madness of World War II, they carry in their work an indelible shadow and an indestructible creative force. For more than a year, Matthieu Chatellier filmed them in the intimacy of their work as painters and engravers. Now in their eighties, Fred Deux and Cécile Reims convey a modern, bold and uncompromising way of thinking.
