Abstract: Nel 1879 il conte Sautuola trovò i disegni fatti da popoli antichi nelle caverne. Ma nessuno gli credette per 20 anni. Finché non furono trovati altri disegni con gli stessi animali in una grotta della Francia. Quella volta tutti riconobbero l'autenticità del ritrovamento e cominciò la "febbre delle caverne". Nel 1940 degli scolari francesi ebbero la fortuna di scoprire una grotta che conservava un gran numero di disegni. A questo fece seguito la scoperta della grotta di Kapova, negli Urali meridionali: un cavallo, un mammuth, un bufalo e, accanto a loro, l'immagine di un uomo. Fu una meravigliosa sorpresa. Un uomo Sungir di 27 mila anni è stato trovato a Vladimir. Ma anche questo non era tutto. Nel 1990 e nel 1994 ci furono altre immagini trovate in Francia: mammuth, rinoceronti, leonesse e molti altri animali. E tutti risalenti a 32 mila anni fa.
In 1879 Count Sautuola found drawings made by ancient people in caves. But nobody believed him for 20 years. Until more drawings with the same animals were found in a cave in France. That time everyone recognised the authenticity of the find and the "cave fever" began. In 1940, French schoolchildren were lucky enough to discover a cave that held a large number of drawings. This was followed by the discovery of the Kapova cave in the southern Urals: a horse, a mammoth, a buffalo and, next to them, the image of a man. It was a wonderful surprise. A 27-thousand-year-old Sungir man was found in Vladimir. But even that was not all. In 1990 and 1994 there were more images found in France: mammoths, rhinos, lionesses and many other animals. And all dating back 32,000 years.
